LaVon seems to be doing well. In many phone calls it even sounds like he is enjoying boot camp as much as he can. his voice is very up beat! he is in a great group that gets along with each other really well and all if them work hard to get things done right the first time. LaVon is doing great with his physical training. he has the 1 and a half mile run down timing in at 11 minutes and 40 seconds (requirement is 11 minutes, 47 seconds) but still needs a couple more push ups and sit ups, which will come with time. he is able to do 3 pull ups now, which is great considering he couldn't even do 1 when he left. he has done multiple "fun" activities, such as going through the gas chamber. he said he did fine but did puke quite a bit afterwards. he received his blues this week(blue uniform). he is looking forward to graduation and is feeling a great sense of accomplishment.
