BMT Graduation

It's official! LaVon is now Airman Salmon, not trainee salmon! Graduation week events started the morning of July 1, 2009 with the Airman's' run that was 2 miles long and then they had the coin ceremony that afternoon where all of the trainees were given the title and oath of airmen. Truly the moment for all of these trainees that made all of the grueling and hard work pay off.

The next morning of July 2, 2009the airmen walked over the bridge which is also known as the gateway to the Air Force And then paraded on the field. It was simply amazing at how uniform theses airmen and airwomen were. every step they took in their march, every movement they made was all in connection to the demands their Ti's were giving them!

July 3rd. and 4th. the graduates were given town pass and were able spend some great quality time with their families. The base had a festival for the Fourth of July which the Graduates were able to attend until after the fireworks, which was quite the treat.
July 5th was a day spent on base. preparation and packing for tech school and also going to church.
